An evening with the legendary ... Duke Ellington
By virtue of his music, it's fair to say that Duke Ellington's imagination knew no bounds.
Ellington's music is music for the ages. Calvin Coolidge was President when the first recordings were made in 1927, talking pictures were thought of as a fad and the Cotton Club, where Ellington was just about to break through to national fame, was for all intents and purposes a segregated venue. I'd love to celebrate The Duke's life and music with you.
Please join me Saturday night at 7 PM, ET and PT at the Swing Museum ... only on Share-a-Vision Radio. Pull up a chair and visit all my web pages ... the Archives are always open. I'll leave a key under the mat for you!
Yours in Radio, Jan
