Welcome to Orchestra Hall,

On Sunday, at Noon on both coasts, Orchestra Hall is pleased to have Violinist Danielle Belen return as a special guest to talk about a Benefit Concert to be held Sunday, February 5th at Thayer Hall at The Colburn School in Los Angeles. The benefit will be on behalf of the Center Stage Strings, a music camp for extraordinary students. Ms. Belen is the Founder and Artistic Director of the camp which is located in Three Rivers, California.

Appearing as guest artist at the event will be cellist Lynn Harrell. During the last half hour of Orchestra Hall, we will hear the artistry of Lynn Harrell playing one of the pieces he will perform with Ms. Belen at the benefit entitled: "Passacaglia."  For Orchestra Hall, Mr. Harrell performs the piece with Nigel Kennedy. We will then hear Mr. Harrell, Itzhak Perlman, and Vladimir Ashkenazi perform String Trio in C Minor and Piano Trio in B flat major by Beethoven.
