Hi this is David Cummings host of Mostly Music.

I hope you can tune in Thursday February 9th for the next edition of the program. This week we will be remembering the great Johnny Otis who passed away on January 17th. He was known as the "Godfather of R&B." He had an exstensive career starting in the early 1940's as a musician, band leader, song writer and the guy who helped start the careers of artists like Little Esther Phillips, Etta James, Jackie Wilson, Hank Ballard and the Robins just to name a few. So I hope you will be tuning in to the next edition of the show for part two of our tribute to the late Johnny Otis.

 All this and most weeks the "The 5 Minute Mystery." It was a syndicated program and runs about 5 minutes. A crime is committed and you get a chance to figure out who "dunnit" before the program ends.
