Hi Everybody,

I am going to be taking a little time off. Filling in for me, is my good friend Claude (Hoot) Hooten.

Hoot, as most of you know, has been a very successful radio personality around the country - and the world for  many years. His music library is wonderful and he plans on sharing many great tunes with you, not to mention some of his entertaining stories. KSAV listeners may remember Hoot's show "Rear Window"  Oops! a freudian slip - I mean "Rear View." We all know the difference between Hitchcock and Hooten ... or do we? I did tell him he could leave his trombone in the closet ... you can thank me for that later. Thank you Hoot for graciously taking time to fill in for me.

I'll be back soon with a great line up of guests including LUTHER NALLIE the "Trail Boss" for the legendary group The Sons of the Pioneers, and a special return visit with my dear friend, great pianist, BEEGIE ADAIR. Beegie and I will talk about her latest CD "Swingin' With Sinatra." I'll play a few of Beegie's and my favorites from that terrific CD which is in the KSAV Store. We'll discuss her October tour to Japan and much more.
